1. SEE THE STARS: Orange Coast College will bring the universe to you

through a show designed to examine the wonders of the cosmos at 7:30 p.m.

today. The show is part of a series geared toward those in 10th-grade and

older and will be held in the college’s planetarium. Admission is $10.

The planetarium is at 2701 Fairview Road across from the Lewis Center for

2. LIFESAVING SKILLS: The annual Red Cross CPR Certification Class

will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the Lido Isle Yacht Club

in Newport Beach. Half of the fee will be underwritten by the Lido Isle

Junior Sailing Foundation. $30; $15 for participants ages 12 to 17. The

3. A CABARET REUNION: The Cabaret Chapter Reunion for members of the

1970s and 1980s Orange County Performing Arts Center Chapter will be held

from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. Sunday at the Newport Beach Yacht Club. The

afternoon will include no-host cocktails, light hors d’oeuvres and live

music. The club is at 1099 Bayside Drive. Casual dress. $10 per person.
