Donahue Schriber, a Costa Mesa-based developing firm, acquired Union

Hills Village in Phoenix, Valley Shopping Center in Sacramento and Plaza

Sorrento in San Diego, bringing its total purchases in April to five and

providing an overall investment to more than $62 million.

“These three properties will broaden the geographic diversification

within market areas in California and Arizona where Donahue Schriber

already has a significant presence,” said Mark Whitfield, executive vice

president of development.

The other acquisitions were Cathedral City Marketplace and Mission

Oaks Plaza in Camarillo.

With a 33-year history, the firm has developed or redeveloped more

than 15 million square feet of retail, and owns and operates a portfolio

of 66 neighborhood, community, regional and community lifestyle shopping

centers.
