WEATHER FORECAST
The only thing that may be different today when compared with Monday
is possible morning drizzle. We’ll still have the early morning fog and
low clouds, but we may receive a little precipitation -- just enough to
add spots to that great carwash.
Highs today will approach 80 in Costa Mesa and hover in the low 70s in
Newport Beach. Lows will be about 60.
Conditions will be just a bit cooler Wednesday, though otherwise the
same.

BOATING FORECAST
Fog will be encountered early and late today. The westerly winds will
blow 10 to 15 knots in the inner waters today, with 2-foot waves and a
southwest swell of 3 to 5 feet.
Out farther, the westerly winds will blow 15 knots, with 2- to 4-foot
waves and a southwest swell of 5 to 6 feet. Tonight, the winds will pick
up to 10 to 20 knots.
SURF
Though the waves are expected to be weak today, they’ll still roll in
at the waist- to chest-high range. The decent size won’t last long,
though, as knee-highs look to dominate Wednesday. Friday should pick us
back up.
