Tournament to begin for 9/10 All-Stars

The 2002 District 62 Little League All-Stars Tournament of Champions

will take place beginning Saturday at Huntington Valley and Seaview

Little Leagues.Host Huntington Valley, Fountain Valley, Westminster and

Costa Mesa National are pitted in the Area 1 bracket.

Host Seaview, Ocean View, Robinwood and Costa Mesa American make up

the Area 2 bracket.

The double-elimination tournament will continue with play on Tuesday,

Wednesday and Thursday, July 11 at both sites.

The Junior League All-Star tournament will also get underway on

Saturday and will be hosted by Westminster Little League. The four

leagues competing for the district title include Huntington Valley,

Robinwood, Fountain Valley and host Westminster.

Area 1

9 a.m. -- Westminster vs. Huntington Valley

Noon -- Fountain Valley vs. Costa Mesa National

Area 2

(at Seaview LL)

9 a.m. -- Robinwood vs. Ocean View

Noon -- Costa Mesa American vs. Seaview
