Weddings and Engagements

Cristen Jaye Walley of Newport Beach and Alec Donald Lebsack of Irvine

exchanged wedding vows at St. Michael and All Angels Church in Corona del

Mar on May 25.

The bride is the daughter of Thomas Edward Walley and the late Marilyn

Colleen Arnold Walley of Newport Beach. Her matron of honor was her twin

sister, Shannon Michelle Walley, and the bridesmaids were Joelle M.

Andrew, Marisa J. Avnaim, Alison S. Hubbs, Sonya L. Lebsack and Deborah

L. Miller.

The groom’s best man was Christopher N. Tetzlaff and the groomsmen

were Vernon Edler IV, Thomas G. Komarmi, Martin A. Ortega, Derek A.

Sapico and Bryan T. Walley.

The ceremony was followed by a reception of about 215 guests at the Newport Harbor Yacht Club.

The bride is self-employed through an accounting and business

organization, Walley & Associates. The groom recently completed his

doctorate in chemistry from UC Irvine and will begin employment with

Merck Pharmaceuticals this month.

The couple is at home in La Jolla following a wedding trip to Tahiti.
