Fund-Raiser for Johnny Stockdale

A party will be hosted by the friends of Johnny Stockdale, who has

been diagnosed with Creutzfeldt-Jakoc disease. Proceeds will help

Stockdale to finish his time with family and friends with love and

Chef Laurent Brazier

Laguna Culinary Arts will present Laurent Brazier, executive chef

at Picayo as part of the guest chef series. Brazier will teach a

course titled La Cuisine Francaise featuring recipes such as poached

salmon with celery remoulade and crispy leeks, chilled pea soup and

more. The class will begin at 6 p.m., July 22 at 550 S. Coast

Laguna Culinary Arts

Laguna Culinary Arts will present a kid’s class for junior chefs

in training. Recipes include croque-monsieur (the ultimate grilled

ham and cheese sandwich), apple poppy seed slaw, citrus coolers and

cinnamon blueberry crunch. Designed for children 12 years and up, the

class will take place from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., July 23 at 550
