Red Blazers blaze on
Five players got into the scoring act led by Jacob Trani’s three
goals. The Red Lazers sliced through the Intimidators, 10-4, in a
Norris Division match.
Besides Trani, other scorers for the Red Lazers included two goals
apiece by Quinn Piper, Cameron Gurzi and Eric Newfield.
Lauren Martin completed the scoring by netting the 10th goal.
Martin and Piper also had an assist and Newfield finished with
two.
Scott Lomax had 20 saves in the net.
IN OTHER GAMES:
Slickshoes 8, Wild 2
Kristian Burkhardt scored three goals to lead the Slickshoes.
Keith Fronk scored twice with two assists and goals went to Troy
Loggins, Luke Loggins and Ethan Loy, who added an assist.
Kyle Day had 23 saves.
Tyler Allen and Jordan Matsunaga scored unassisted goals for the
Wild.
Chiefs 4, Blades 1
Eric Grant limited the Blades to a single goal by coming up with
21 saves, Matt Korn scored twice, Erik Jervik scored once and Jordan
Sanders and James Williams each picked up assists to lead the Chiefs.
Marcus Velasco scored off an Aaron Lerman feed and Jason Smith had
21 saves for the Blades.
Carnivores 6, Hurricanes 1
A five goal, second period outburst carried the Carnivores to
victory.
Jacob Augeri led the attack with three goals, Andrew Mendoza had a
goal and an assist and Joel Dapello had an assist.
Zack Porter stopped 20 shots on goal.
Zachary Peterson scored an unassisted first period goal and Jared
Neely recorded 30 saves for the Hurricanes.
