Red Bulls roll through the Storm, 10-3

Strong defense and a high-scoring offensive attack allowed the

Storm Club roller hockey team to remain undefeated as they beat the

second-place Red Bulls, 10-3, recently at the Gretzky Center.

The Storms’ Ryan Iverson led all scorers with four goals while

Mitch Merten and Joey Arnoni each had three apiece with Cody Campbell

assisting on three goals.

Steady stick checking and body positioning by the Storm defense

helped stifle the normally high-scoring Red Bulls.

Defensemen C.J. Piz, Blake Kelly, Mike Ballantyne and Kyle Laslo

allowed only 20 shots, many coming from bad angles as the shooters

were forced to the side boards.

Goalkeeper A.J. Allen stopped three Red Bull breakaways in defense

of the net.
