Extreme motocross coming Saturday
The Superman. The Sterilizer. Kiss of Death. Oxecutor. Those are
the names of motocross jumping tricks, which also give an indication
of what will be on hand at the Costa Mesa Speedway Saturday.
With gates opening at 5:30 p.m., the Speedway will host Extreme
Freestyle Motocross jumpers and professional speedway motorcycle
racing.
The first race is scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m., when seasoned
veterans such as Costa Mesa’s Bobby “Boogaloo” Schwartz will provide
speed and excitement.
Admission for adults is $12, which includes parking and an event
program. Children ages 13-17 and senior citizens, 60-year-olds and
up, are charged $8 for the special event, while 6-12-year-olds pay $4. Five-year-olds and younger enter free.
