“We’re the world’s smallest department store,” says Darren Calkins

owner of Paris to the Moon. The tiny boutique carries French items

and everything in between. The biggest sellers are its Cat’s Print

pajamas and dishes with card, Paris, monogram and princess motifs.

Other items offered are Chinese lanterns, jewelry, soaps, art,

chandeliers, music, vintage toys and baby gifts. It’s open from 10

Couture Flowers Design Studio is a high-end floral boutique owned

by Andrew Gromuck. “I don’t do country or sweet,” says Gromuck. “Pink

is my least favorite color.” Gromuck’s work is sophisticated. He does

wonderful color combinations and mixed-media floral arrangements

using copper air conditioning coils, feathers and artichokes in his

arrangements. “It’s the marriage of fashion and flowers,” Gromuck

said. “And we only use premium ingredients.” It’s open from 10 a.m.

to 4 p.m. Monday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, and
