UCI’s Piotrowski earns Player of Week award

ANTEATER STADIUM -- UC Irvine senior Robyn Piotrowski received Big

West Conference Co-Player of the Week honors after she scored both

goals in the Anteaters’ 2-0 win over Eastern Washington Friday.

Piotrowski scored both of her goals in the first half at Titan

Stadium in the Cal State Fullerton Fila Classic. She is a 5-foot-5

defender from San Dimas High.

Last year, Piotrowski earned All-Big West Honorable Mention

laurels, dishing out two assists and starting in 13 of 15 games

played. In 2000, she came away with Big West Honorable Mention

recognition as a midfielder after she recorded one goal and one

assist in 17 games.
