* East 17th Street: A 40-year-old man was arrested on suspicion

of being drunk in public in the 100 block at 5:25 p.m. Tuesday.

* Fairview Road: An assault was reported in the 2700 block at

9:15 a.m. Tuesday.

* Harbor Boulevard: A 46-year-old woman was arrested for

possession of paraphernalia and a 40-year-old man was arrested on

suspicion of possessing a controlled substance, a hypodermic needle

and paraphernalia in the 2200 block at 9:10 a.m. Tuesday.

* Joann Street: A vehicle burglary was reported in the 900 block

at 7:57 a.m. Tuesday.

* Wallace Avenue: Indecent exposure was reported in the 1900

block at 5:59 p.m. Tuesday.

* B Street and the beach: A 22-year-old woman was arrested on

possession of a controlled substance and a 23-year-old man was

arrested on suspicion of possession/manu-

facturing/selling a dangerous weapon at 3:58 a.m. Tuesday.

4800 block at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday.

* Dover Drive: Petty theft was reported in the 800 block at 10:35

a.m. Tuesday.

* Newport Center Drive: A suicide by shooting was reported at the

Marriott Hotel in the 900 block at 12:50 p.m.
