Avengers trip up Friction

Jake Galaviz and Greg Weaver each netted two goals last weekend to

lead the Avengers past the Friction, 7-5, in a Wales Division

contest.

The Avengers also received goals by Spencer Thomas, Tom Moore and

Ryin Amador.

Nathan DeBoom and Gregory Martin each picked up two assists and

Addison DeBoom assisted one goal. Jaryd Mason recorded 17 saves.

Keith Hetrick led Friction’s attack with three goals. Kevin Ewing

and Luke Gane each sored once with an assist, and David Loy also had

an assist.

Hornets 3

Jeremy Cacal matched two goals with a pair of assists to help lead

the Timberwolves to victory.

Tip Donaldson and Martin DeJong each also netted two goals and

Steve Maybrier and Skyler Matas each had an assist.

Adam O’Connor recorded 23 saves.

Adam Lamotte and Neil Patel scored goals, Jared Musacchio had an

assist and Brandon Rodriguez finished with 14 saves for the Hornets.

Lightning 1, Cutco 1

A scoreless match was broken up in the final period as Michael

Mowrey scored off a Spencer Layman feed for the Lightning, and

Cameron Weiss scored off Bronson Steiner’s assist for Cutco.

Garrett Ono had 31 saves for the Lightning; Sam Robinson finished

with 12 for Cutco.
