Make-up enough

Friends of mine swear by Senna Cosmetics Studio & Boutique in

Corona del Mar. They love the custom make-up lessons and that they

can run in and pick up new colors for spring and fall. Makeup artist

Eugenia Weston is the creator of Senna Cosmetics. Weston created her

own neutral makeup colors back when most women were wearing blue

eyeshadows. As a cosmetics sales person, Weston thought that neutrals

were the most flattering, so she blended her own browns and ivories.

Customers noticed her look and wanted it for themselves. Eventually

Weston went on to develop the successful cosmetics collection for

Sebastian International called “Trucco” and then opened her own

cosmetics studio in Tarzana with her own makeup line called “Senna.”

Today she has studios and boutiques in Beverly Hills, Tarzana,

Encino, Woodland Hills and Studio City. At Senna you can have

professional makeup lessons; applications; brow services, their

specialty; facial waxing; and custom-blended colors. From 10 a.m. to

4 p.m. Mon., from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tues., from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

appointment Sunday. 2600 E. Coast Highway. in Corona del Mar. (949)
