1 The Sand Sports Super Show will take place from 5 to 10 p.m.

today at the Orange County Fairgrounds in Costa Mesa. The event will

continue from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday and from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Sunday. $8 for adults, free for children 12 and under. The

2 The California Coastal Commission will hold its Coastal Cleanup

Day from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday. To volunteer, contact a local

A RACE AGAINST CANCER

3 The 11th annual Susan B. Komen Orange County Race For the Cure

will be held from 6:30 to 11 a.m. Sunday at Fashion Island in Newport

Beach. Some of the races include two 5Ks and a family fun walk. $30

for adults if preregistered and $35 day of the event. $25 for youth

17 and under and seniors 60 and over. $15 for survivors and $27 for
