Siamese Cat

This chocolate point apple-headed Siamese cat, shown in the

picture, was recently rescued by a local citizen who has been unable

to find its owners. After passing out fliers and contacting local

animal control agencies, the citizen that found the cat contacted The

Community Animal Network for help. After finishing its veterinarian

examinations the cat will be up for adoption but will only be

available for a private home interview.

While the community-supported organization tries to take care of

and find homes for as many of these cats as it can, the high cost of

such care-taking makes it increasingly difficult for them to do so.

“Pregnant and nursing kittens continue to force the need for

foster parents and donated dollars to ‘Feed The Kitties’,” said

DiAnna Pfaff-Martin, founder of organization. “We have been unable to

order the kitten formula at a good price as we need $456 to be able

to order and get a substantial discount.”

The organization links people and pets through community action.

on weekends.
