Kings reign in Patrick Division

With four players breaking into the scoring column and Kyle Rudolf

getting 25 saves, the Kings laid claim to the Patrick Division

championship by defeating the Thunder, 11-2, in the division final.

Darryl Morita, Armando Reyes Jr. and Ryan Schwabe each contributed

three goals and Andrew Casper scored the other two to lead a Kings

offense that included two assists each by Morita, Schwabe and Casper,

and one apiece by Ross Turchi and Lee Herzog.

The Thunders’ scoring consisted on two, unassisted goals by

Garrett Ono.

In other championship action:

Lemieux Division

Raiders 5, Extreme 4

Andrew Watt and Taylor Apostol each scored two goals to lift the

Raiders to the title.

Watt and Apostol also finished with one assist each. Jason

Gutierrez finished with 30 saves.

The Raiders’ scoring also consisted of a goal and an assist by

Ryan Pelliccioni and two assists by Dexter Pattison.

Chad Romers scored once and assisted two other goals to lead the

Extreme. A goal and an assist by David Lachman, goals by Christopher

Maurer and Adam Stanford and an assist by Steve Tess completed the

scoring.

Matt Jankowski had 28 saves.

Campbell Division

Blitz 5, Red Lazers 4

Nathan Wing scored two goals and goals went to Scott Webb, Jason

Callanan and Kevin Kunz as the Blitz held off the Red Lazers.

For the Red Lazers, Jason Saenz led all scorers with three goals,

Josh Duchon scored once with an assist and Dustin Wagers had one

assist.

Wales Division

Timberwolves 3, Avengers 0

Adam O’Connor posted 25 saves and the Timberwolves defense backed

that performance in shutting down the Avengers.

The Timberwolves’ scoring was spread between Martin DeJong, Steve

Maybrier and Bradley Kachigan.

Norris Division

Chiefs 2, Slickshoes 1

Julien Laux and Erik Jervik both scored goals and Eric Grant

recorded 20 saves to lead the Chiefs to victory.

Keith Fronk scored the lone goal for the Slickshoes while Kyle Day

finished with 22 saves.
