AN IRISH ADVENTURE

1 “Stunning Ireland,” a film that takes a loving look at the land

of Ireland, will be shown as part of the Orange Coast College’s

2002-03 travelogue film series, “Armchair Adventures.” The showing

will begin at 7 p.m. today in the Robert B. Moore Theatre. Admission

A FITNESS-FILLED AFFAIR

2 The Harbor Heritage Run and Fitness Fair will return to Newport

Beach on Saturday. The 16-year event, hosted by Newport Harbor High

School, will include a 5K Feature Race, a 2K Fun Run/Walk and a Kid’s

Klassic race. Registration will begin at 6:30 a.m. followed by races

at 8, 8:30, 9:15 and 9:30 a.m. The school is on 16th Street between

3 The city of Newport Beach will celebrate Fire Prevention Week

from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday at the Newport Center Fire Station No.

3. The event will consist of fire and S.W.A.T. demonstrations at noon

as well as displays from the Newport Lifeguards, Harbor Patrol, Red

Cross, Orange County Burn Assn., DARE, Crime Prevention, Animal

Control and CERT. Free. The station is on Santa Barbara Drive off

Jamboree Road.
