Heidi-Anne Aloise and Mark Mooney, Corona del Mar residents,

exchanged wedding vows poolside at the bride’s parents’ home in

Philadelphia, Penn., on June 15.

The bride, daughter of Frank and Anne Aloise (formerly of Bedford,

N.Y.), wore a white satin gown with a full train and veil and carried

a white orchid bouquet arranged by her mother.

Her maid of honor, Genta Hawkins, and her bridesmaid, Heidi

Reinhard, each wore Hawaiian orchid leis and carried white and purple

orchid bouquets.

The groom is the son of Sue and the late Dennis Mooney of

Portland, Ore. His best man was Josh Shafer, and his groomsman was

Rory Quinn.

A catered Hawaiian-style reception followed the ceremony.

The bride, a graduate of the University of Colorado, is a

pharmaceutical sales representative with Abbott Pharmaceuticals in

Orange County.

The groom, a graduate of Boston University and National

University, is a high school teacher and tennis coach at Tesoro High

School in Las Flores.

The couple, who met five years ago while serving in the United

States Marine Corps, is at home after a wedding trip to Portugal and

Spain.

Ihrke-Johnson

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Ihrke of Corona del Mar announce the

engagement of their daughter, Susan Elizabeth Ihrke of Newport Beach,

to Sean Perin Johnson of Newport Beach.

The bride-elect graduated from Corona del Mar High School and

received her bachelor’s degree from Vanderbilt University in

Nashville, Tenn. and her master’s degree from Harvard University in

Cambridge, Mass. She is currently working as a teacher at Harbor Day

School in Corona del Mar.

The future bridegroom, son of Dr. and Mrs. Perin Johnson of

Thousand Oaks, graduated from Thousand Oaks High School and received

his bachelor’s degree from Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colo. He is

currently employed with Pacific Life in Newport Beach.

An Oct. 19 wedding is planned in Newport Beach.
