Sailors KO’d at Uni, 13-5

The Newport Harbor High doubles team of A.J. Olson and Diana

Khoury swept their sets, but the Sailors’ girls tennis squad lost a

13-5 nonleague contest to host University Wednesday.

Olson and Khoury lost only five games in their three sets, while

Bonnie and Carly Adams also recorded one set win, as did Krista

McIntosh in singles play.

The Sailors, ranked No. 10 in CIF Southern Section Division I,

dropped to 7-5, while University, No. 9 in CIF Division I, improved

to 11-2.
