API GROWTH REPORTS:

The board will hear a report about the district’s results on the

Stanford 9 and the California Standards Test in English/language

arts. Sixty-two percent of district schools met all the targets and

10 schools performed above the statewide target of 800.

APPLICATION FOR FUNDING:

The board will consider approval of funding for the Carl Perkins

Vocational and Applied Technology funds. It would fund $126,678 for

vocational education in high school and $274,338 for vocational

education for post-secondary and adult education.

WHAT TO EXPECT:

The board is expected to approve the funds.

CLASS-SIZE REDUCTION PROGRAM:

The board will consider a resolution reflecting the district’s

commitment to reduced class sizes in kindergarten through third grade

to receive class-size-reduction funds from the state.
