Tailgate party tickets on sale

A pregame tailgate party to raise proceeds for the Estancia High

football stadium and Costa Mesa High Olympic pool project will be

held from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. before the Battle for the Bell

football game between the two schoolsFriday at Newport Harbor High.

Tickets are $10 and include game admission (normally $6), entry

into a raffle for five computers, valued at an estimated $1,000

apiece, and a meal.

Tickets may be purchased until noon Thursday from either school,

or by 5 p.m. Thursday at the Newport Rib Company, 2196 Harbor Blvd.

in Costa Mesa.

Food will be provided by Newport Rib Company and Wahoo’s Fish

Taco.

The theme for the evening, which will include special halftime

festivities, is “Costa Mesa United.”
