seventh-grade boys’ teams, Mesa View Middle School won Ocean View

School District’s seventh-eighth grade overall title in the

district’s cross country championship event.

It is the second consecutive district championship for the school.

The Eagles’ eighth-grade girls’ team followed up an undefeated

has claimed the district crown. Teammate Brianna Littrell ran her

best time of the season to finish a close second to Thuve. Mesa

View’s Caprice Thompson was fifth, Desiree Escarcida was 11th, and

Kendall Luther placed 12th.

The Eagle’s seventh-grade boys’ team, also unbeaten during regular

top 10.

Leading the way was Josh Smith in fifth place, followed by Adrian

Watkins in sixth and Greg Baca in eighth. Jason Sullivan was ninth,

and John Hohng finished 10th overall.

Mesa View’s eighth-grade boys’ team, the defending district
