Blue Lightning strikes

Daniel Cabrera scored three goals to lead the Blue Lightning to a

shutout win over the Black Dragons in AYSO Region 120 Boys under-8 soccer action Saturday.

Malcolm Williams and Isaac Dela Mora added solo goals for the

Lightning and fullbacks Nicholas Meldrum, Adam Ditt, Nicholas

Halloran and Erick Alvarez anchored the defense.

Williams, Cabrera, Dela Mora and Michael Cordova led the offense.

In Boys under-6 play:

* The Hoppers moved up the field with quickness to lead Colin

Williams to his first goal of the season with help from Cody Nelson,

Cole Rowerdink and Christopher DeFrenza.

Karl Donovan also displayed some effective moves and DeFrenza,

Cole Norris and Sean Fisher played solid throughout.
