BACK TO SCHOOL AGAIN

1Orange Coast College will host a daylong conference on adult

reentry education from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. today in the Student Center

and Captain’s Table. The conference is meant for community college

and university reentry educators and students. There will be a

workshop and seminar on relating topics. The campus is at 2701

Fairview Road. Registration is $40, $15 for students and $35 for CARE

A HIP HALLOWEEN HAPPENING

2The Masquerade Ball for the Arts will be held from 8 p.m. to 1

a.m. Saturday at the Orange County Museum of Art in Newport Beach.

The event, in its fifth consecutive year, is a popular and hip

Halloween party for young professionals throughout Orange County and

benefits the museum. The museum is at 850 San Clemente Drive. $55

presale for groups of 10 or more; $65 advanced purchase; $80 at the

EXPLORING THE PAST

3A program exploring the games Native American children of the

Back Bay might have played will be held from 10:30 a.m. to noon

Sunday at The Peter and Mary Muth Interpretive Center. The program is

best suited for children ages 5 and older. Space is limited. The

center is at 2301 University Drive, Newport Beach. $3 per person. To
