Courtsey Auto Body wins big, 5-1
Courtesy Auto Body pounded out three home runs last weekend and
used the long ball to record a 5-1 victory over Sandpiper at Riddle
Field in Men’s Fall League 16 softball play, sponsored by the city of
Laguna Beach.
The win was the fifth consecutive to open the season for Courtesy
Auto Body.
Steve McKinley hit one of the home runs for Courtesy Auto Body.
Ryan Neptune’s solo home run accounted for the lone run by
Sandpiper.

Mark Christy hit a two-run home run in the third inning and added
a single and walk as Hobies knocked off previously undefeated
Courtesy Auto Body.
Sean Douglas singled twice.
Jeff Pich belted two home runs that accounted for four RBI and
walked, and leadoff batter Steve McKinley hit a solo home run in the
first inning.
Team Viagra 9, Ganahl Lumber 6
Nate Pivaroff had a two-run home run for Team Viagra.
Steve Dixon singled three times, Gary Rauch doubled and singled
and Greg Wallace knocked in three runs behind a pair of singles.
Sandpiper 13, Sofa Kings 4 Jeff Heminghaus hit a three-run home run to lead Sandpiper.
Marco Johnson delivered a two-run home run for Sofa Kings.
Ganahl Lumber 7, Good, Bad and Ugly 5
Gary Rauch delivered at two-run home run and Steve Dixon had a
pair of singles to lead Ganahl Lumber.
Mike MacKinley led the Good, Bad and Ugly attack with a three-run
home run and single and teammates Paul Corey, Lance Stewart and Randy
Underwood each added two singles.
Team Viagra 7, Sofa Kings 2
Team Viagra won its first game by beating Sofa Kings.
