SOUL CONNECTION
The Soul Connection, Orange County’s only performance Gospel
choir, will perform at 5 p.m. Sunday as part of St. Michael and All
Angel’s First Sundays at Five series. The free event is the second of

DIVERSITY FAIRE
The ninth annual Religious Diversity Faire will be held from 1 to
6 p.m. Sunday at UC Irvine’s Student Center, intersection of Campus
and University drives. The theme is “Spiritual Journeys: A Day of
Learning and Sharing.” Panel discussions and presentations will
feature speakers from around the county. Registration is at 12:30

PRAYER HOUR
The Second Church of Christ, Scientist will hold an hour of prayer

HEALTH SCREENINGS
Eight health tests will be offered at St. Michael and All Angels
Church on Wednesday, courtesy of Cathedral Health Services. Among the
tests to be given are a heart screening, diabetes and cholesterol
testing and a pulmonary function test. Individual tests cost $30 and

‘WE BEG TO DIFFER’
Temple Bat Yahm will join the Jewish Community of Orange County
and the Community Scholar Program to host a live debate on “We Beg to
Differ” on Thursday. Michael Lerner and Dennis Prager will be

RELATIONSHIP SEMINAR
St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church will offer its annual
“Relationship Seminar,” a three-week series, starting at 7:30 p.m.
Thursday. The workshop series speaks to the difficulties encountered

FOR OLDER WOMEN
The Jewish Family Service offers a support group for women older

Jewish Family Service of Orange County has formed a bereavement
support group that meets at 10 a.m. Tuesdays and a Challenge of
Change support group that meets at 10 a.m. Thursdays. Both groups

service is also forming a parenting support group to meet the first
and third Mondays of each month at 10 a.m. at the Jewish Federation
