Playhouse will present “The Foreigner,” a comedy by Larry Shue.

Directed by Tom Titus, the play is about a pathologically shy young

man who everyone believes can’t speak English. He overhears things

he’d rather not hear. The play will be performed Thursday and Friday,

with both matinee and evening performances on Saturday and Sunday

Golden West College

Mainstage Theater will present “Holiday” by Philip Barry. The play

The Light-a-Light of Love

Parade and Pier Lighting will begin with a lighting ceremony at 5

p.m. at Pier Plaza, Main Street and Pacific Coast Highway. Five-foot

snowflakes are bought by businesses and private parties and put on

light poles on the pier to benefit the Huntington Youth Shelter. The

parade will features drill teams, fire engines and Mr. and Mrs. Santa

The Huntington Beach Art Center will present “A Day With(Out)

Art,”a silent and continuous video presentation held each year to pay
