OCC lecture will benefit homeless
Orange Coast College art history professor Irini Rickerson will
present an international art and architecture lecture tonight to
raise money for various charities.
The lecture will feature an eclectic array of art, including
pictures of the Tuscany Tarot Garden and rock art in the Sahara
Desert.
The event will benefit a county homeless shelter and an AIDS
Foundation for women and children as well as raise money for two
scholarships.
Patrons are invited to bring a can of food to be donated to Save
OurSelves food bank in Costa Mesa or children’s art supplies to be
donated to Afghani children.
The cost of the event at the Robert B. Moore Theatre on campus is
a tax-deductible donation of $10 or more.
For more information, call Rickerson at (714) 432-5039.
