ART LECTURE

1A 90-minute lecture on unique art and architecture from around

the world will begin at 8 p.m. today in the Orange Coast College

Robert B. Moore Theatre. The lecture will be presented by OCC

professor Irini Rickerson. All proceeds raised from the lecture will

benefit AIDS Charities of Orange County. The theater is at 2701

Fairview Road, Costa Mesa. Tickets are $10 and will be available at

PERUSING THE PARK

2 The city of Costa Mesa’s Fairview Park Friends Committee will

host a guided tour of Fairview Park at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the

south end of the main park parking lot on the west side of Placentia

Avenue. The tour, expected to take 1 1/2 hours, will present an

overview of what the park has to offer the community. Free. For more

A SEUSSICAL SUNDAY

3 A Green Eggs and Ham Party to kick off the opening of ticket

sales for “Seussical the Musical” will be held from 10 a.m. to noon

Sunday at the Orange County Performing Arts Center Box Office.

Participants will not only have a chance to get the first tickets for

the musical, but also enjoy food, games and activities, and get to

leave with a “Seussical” surprise. The center is at 600 Town Center
