David Copperfield will perform “Portal,” his new show of

BEAUJOLAIS NOUVEAU

Alliance Francaise will hold its rescheduled annual Beaujolais

Nouveau Celebration at 6:30 p.m. Friday at Mistral Restaurant, 440

includes two glasses of Beaujolais, will include a choice of leg of

lamb or braised tarragon chicken in white wine. Alliance Francaise is

The China Culture and Arts Assn. of USA will present a Hong Kong

UC Irvine will present the Alan Lerner-Frederick Loewe classic “My

“The Violet Hour,” a new play by Richard Greenberg, will be

autobiography and his best friend’s book. Performances will be given

“Charley’s Aunt,” a 19th-century farce by Brandon Thomas, will be

‘LA BAYADERE’

The Bolshoi Ballet will return to the Orange County Performing

Arts Nov. 26 to Dec. 1 with Yuri Grigorovich’s staging of “La

Bayadere.” The ballet tells the story of a temple priestess and her
