Pro Classic Finals today

COSTA MESA -- Taipei’s Yeu-Tsuoo Wang, a former No. 1 in the world

on the junior circuit, and former Northwestern University athlete

Doug Bohaboy will duel today at noon for the 2002 Costa Mesa Pro

Classic Championship at the Costa Mesa Tennis Center.

Wang earned a finals berth in the USTA professional circuit event

with a 6-4, 6-2 victory over Jose De Armas of Venezuela Saturday,

while Bohaboy was a 6-4, 6-1 winner over Rajeev Ram of the U.S. in

the semifinals.

Also today, in the doubles finals, will be Richard Bloomfield and

David Sherwood of Britain against Americans Prakash Amritraj and Ram.

Local pro standout Taylor Dent is expected to make an appearance.
