before Powers scored his fifth goal of the day at 3:56 to knot the

score at 8-8.

2:44 and Derse gave Stanford a two-goal cushion at 10-8 with a score

at 1:46. Gentry drew UCI within one on a power-play goal with 52

seconds left, but Stanford controlled the ball for the remainder of

the game.

Nick Ellis recorded six stops for the Cardinal (20-3).
