All-Big West honors for 8 Anteaters

The UC Irvine men’s soccer team, which finished the season fourth

in the Big West Conference, have represented eight with All-Big West

honors this season.

UCI seniors Scott Bowman and Jason Thompson both earned first-team

All-Big West laurels and helped guide the Anteaters to an 8-8-4

overall record and 3-4-3 in the Big West. Bowman led the Anteaters

with nine assists this season, while Thompson had four assists this

season.

UCI senior Joel Spencer and junior Anthony Vizcarra were each

named to the All-Big West second team.

Sophomore Dardo Acuna, senior Frankie Clay, junior Chris Ruiz and

sophomore Cameron Rossi received honorable mention recognition.
