John Rule

A funeral for John Rule, a 34-year Costa Mesa resident, is

scheduled to be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Harbor Lawn-Mount

Olive Cemetery in Costa Mesa. Mr. Rule died Sunday of a heart attack.

He was 60. He is survived by brother Jim and niece Ronnie. A viewing

is also scheduled for 4 to 6 p.m. Friday.

Florence McCrae Vandegrift

Florence McCrae Vandegrift, a 31-year resident of Balboa Island,

died Saturday of natural causes. She was 81. Mrs. Vandegrift is

survived by her husband of 60 years, Roger; daughters Judy

Vandegrift, Sally Bundy and Patrice Gibson; son Jeff Vandegrift;

eight grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.

Floyd Arthur Blower

A memorial service for Floyd Arthur Blower, a former Newport Beach

resident, is scheduled for 11 a.m. Friday at the Trinity United

Presbyterian Church in Tustin. Mr. Blower died Saturday in his

Fallbrook residence. He was 89. Mr. Blower is survived by wife

Margaret; son James; daughters Linda Dempsay, Marilyn Francis and Ann

Silva; and brothers Fayette Blower and Ralph Blower. A viewing is

scheduled from 6 to 8 p.m. today.

Dale R. Anderson

A memorial service is scheduled for Dale R. Anderson, a 31-year

Costa Mesa resident, at noon Sunday at Pacific View Chapel. Mr.

Anderson died Tuesday of cancer. He was 66. Mr. Anderson is survived

by wife Pamela; son Jeremy; daughters Kimberly Cleary and Deborah

Cooper; eight grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
