Sea Kings splatter Arlington, 14-3

The shots kept coming and they seemed to be going in frequently

for the Corona del Mar High girls frosh-soph water polo team

Wednesday.

The Sea Kings downed visiting Arlington, 14-3, outshooting the

visitors, 19-8.

Katie Kubas led Corona with six goals followed by Ashley

Chandler’s four goals. Amy Zucker tallied two goals and Chelsea Lyman

and Lauren McAdams each had one goal apiece for the victors.

CdM goalkeeper Whitney Caskey made two saves.

Katie Lemmerman led Corona with two assists and tied with McAdams

and Kubas with three steals each.

The Sea Kings led, 12-1 at halftime, scoring seven goals in the

second period, four by Kubas.
