Wings fly past Rascals
Five players posted goals, and keeper Eric Grant limited the
Rascals to a single goal, as the Wings rolled to a 7-1 victory in a
Norris Division match.
Taylor Fitzpatrick and Jeff Fuzzard led the way with two goals and
an assist each.
The balance of the Wings’ scoring consisted of a goal and an
assist by Dean Neugebauer and one goal by James Newman.
Grant recorded 10 saves.
The lone Rascals score came on Derek Humphrey’s unassisted, first
period goal.

The Heat 6, Blue Thunder 5
Max Devries scored his team’s final three goals -- including one
in an overtime shootout, to lift The Heat to victory.
Matthew Seroka scored twice with an assist, and Kyle Fiscus picked
up an assist to complete the scoring for The Heat.
Aaron Nguyen had 16 saves.
Cameron Marino scored twice, and Timothy Tauber, Zach Gillespie
and Kyle MacLeod each scored once with an assist for Blue Thunder.
Jacob Renaud also had 16 saves.
Hawks 6, Avalanche 3
The Hawks outscored the Avalanche, 3-0, in the final period to
pull out the win.
Nathan Bergeron, Brandon Phillips and Aly Zappen each scored in
the decisive frame.
Zappen led the Hawks with two goals and an assist, Bergeron and
Phillips each added an assist, Zachary Dixon and Skyler Shook both
scored once, and Travis Beckman had an assist.
Amy Zappen got the win in net with 10 saves.
All three Avalanche goals came in the opening period. Lewis
Gifford scored twice, Jim Martin scored once, and Adrian Hirt and
Scott Cox each had one assist.
Isaiah Jimenez had 16 saves.
Mad Dogs 7, Hat Trix 4
The Mad Dogs put together a steady scoring attack as Mike Ambrose
each scored twice with an assist, Kyle Evans scored twice and Kevin
Lassen, Hunter Golden and Ariel Rassler each scored once.
Bryan Paranal finished with 13 saves.
D.J. Mihalik, Dylan Dongird, and Christian Beith all scored for
the Hat Trix, Hayden Garcia and Chad Morris each had an assist, and
Kyle Morrill recorded 16 saves.
