Monday’s In Business story about the Koll Development Co.’s move

to Dallas (“Koll green lights move from Newport”) left out a few

facts that may have misled readers. Don Koll, who founded the Newport

Beach-based Koll Co. in 1962 and still heads it, sold his interests

in the Koll Development Co. in 2001 and is no longer involved with

it. The Koll Development Co., which is no longer affiliated with the

Koll Co, is a tenant in the Koll Co.’s longtime headquarters at 4343

Von Karman Ave., but plans to relocate to Dallas by April. The Koll

Co., a real estate acquisition, development and management firm, is

still in its longtime headquarters on Von Karman in Newport.
