Bullets blaze forward

The Silver Bullets from Corona del Mar went undefeated in a

four-game series last weekend in Boys under-12 Region 57 AYSO soccer

action.

Camden Nicholson led the Silver Bullets in scoring with eight

goals over the four games, including four goals in a 5-0 shutout win

over Tustin.

Ori Tabak also scored three goals in the series and Jamie Heinecke

added with a head shot from a corner kick.

The Bullets’ defense played a pivotal role in keeping he opposing

teams’ offenses in check with solid play from Heinecke, Alex

Mainthow, Jarrett Logan, Tommy Bangert and goalkeeper Connor

Benvenuti.

Koomi Chehabi, Jonathan Jaffee, Kevin Corrigan and Anthony

Francisco also contributed to the victories.

Scott Berkhausen was sidelined with a wrist injury, but cheered

his teammates from the sidelines.
