Closing time for Sawdust Festival

The end is near.

There’s one more weekend left of the Sawdust Art Festival Winter

Fantasy. More than 160 artists and craftspersons are offering their

personally created items to Festival visitors.

New artists this year include Roni Feldman of Santa Monica, whose

vividly colored oils depict current events and modern life; bronze

sculptor Orlay Gutierrez of Huntington Beach; and Chikako Mukai of

Laguna Niguel, who creates one-of-a-kind pillows, stockings and

ornaments using Japanese fabrics.

The Winter Fantasy continues from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and

Sunday at 935 Laguna Canyon. Admission is $4 for adults; $2 for

children 6 to 12 and free for children 5 and younger. Information:
