Claim Jumper to open in South Coast Plaza in summer 2003

Claim Jumper Restaurant is scheduled to open in early summer 2003

at South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa.

The restaurant, which will be the eighth location in Orange

County, will celebrate Claim Jumper’s 25th anniversary and will mark

the company’s 30 restaurant location in Arizona, California,

Colorado, Nevada and Washington.

Taking its position amid South Coast Plaza’s many restaurants and

dinning locations, Claim Jumper is expected to add to the wide

variety there. While the center is known as one of the premier

retail, commercial, cultural and social centers of Orange County, it

also houses a number of restaurants ranked high among the 2002 Zagat

Survey.

Claim Jumper is a family dinning establishment that offers a

selection of freshly prepared items and is ideal of hosting special

occasions, business lunches and family gatherings.

Newport company reaches out and holds global volunteer day

State Street Corporation in Newport Beach partnered with

charitable organizations earlier this month to contribute to local

community outreach efforts.

The global investor corporation established a volunteer program

two years ago, which they organized in conjunction with the United

Nations’ International Volunteer Day. It held a global volunteer day

of its own on Thurs. Dec. 5.

State Street, which also partnered with the Orange County

Firefighters Assn. and participated in the annual Firefighter’s Spark

of Love Toy Drive last week, has made an effort to improve the

well-being of people in the communities where they do business. A

global volunteer day was part of that commitment.

The corporation provides sophisticated global investors with

investment servicing and investment management.
