Pelican Hill has some super plans
NEWPORT COAST -- A “Super Bowl Golf Tournament and Party” has been
scheduled for Jan. 26 at Pelican Hill Golf Club and Tommy Bahama in
Newport Beach.
Reservations are being taken on a first-come, first-serve basis
with a limited number of playing spots available. A corporate
foursome is $1,500 and individuals are $400.
Beneficiary of the tournament and party is Human Options, a
non-profit organization that helps women, families and the community
with “breaking the cycle of domestic violence.”
The event includes a round of 18 holes of golf and a variety of
on-course contests at the Pelican Hill course with a shotgun start at
8:45 a.m.
At halftime of the Super Bowl Game at Tommy Bahamas tournament
awards will be presented and winners of the live and silent auctions
will be announced.
Among the prizes are Lakers, Clippers, Dodgers and Angels tickets,
a luxury suite for four at a Kings’ game, a four-night stay in Cabo
San Lucas, foursomes at several golf courses, overnight golf at
Rancho Las Palmas in Palm Springs, and NFL memorabilia.
A limited number of tee and green signs may be sponsored.
Non-golfers may attend the party for $45 per person and require RSVP
as well. It includes complimentary food and refreshments at Tommy
Bahama.
