Gina’s Pizza helps fund clean beaches

Gina’s Pizza and Pastaria and the Clean Water Now! Coalition are

teaming up to keep local beaches clean.

For every pizza sold on Wednesdays through January, Gina’s will

donate $1 to the coalition’s beach cleanup program.

“The Clean Water Now! Coalition is the California Coastal

Commission’s designee for both programs: the quarterly Adopt-A-Beach

and the big event, the yearly statewide Coastal Cleanup Day,” said

Roger von Butow, founder of Clean Water Now! Coalition.

The annual cleanup is scheduled for Sept. 30, 2003.

The Italian restaurant featured the Laguna Club for Kids in

November and will find a different community-based group deserving of

funds to support each month.

Gina’s is at 1100 S. Coast Highway, Suite 104 and at 610 N. Coast

Highway in the Pavilions Boat Canyon Center. For more information,
