Amigos de Bolsa Chica will hold a free wetlands tour from 9 to
10:30 a.m. Trained guides will lead the public on a 1 1/2-hour tour
of the wetlands. Groups will leave every 15 to 20 minutes from the
bridge at the Bolsa Chica Ecological Reserve. Information: (714)

The Friends of the Shipley Nature Center will host another
Restoration Day work party from 9 a.m. noon at the Shipley Nature
Center in Huntington Central Park. Volunteers will help remove exotic
weeds and plant California native plants and are asked to bring work
gloves, tools, water, a hat, closed-toe shoes and work clothes.

Amigos de Bolsa Chica will honor its past presidents with a Sunday
brunch at Inka Grill. The brunch is $50 per person and the grill is

Huntington Beach
Coordinating Council will honor all of the group’s presidents
during February, President’s Month, at the monthly luncheon meeting
on Monday. The meeting will begin at Noon at the Murdy Park Clubhouse
located at 700 Norma Dr. Lunch is available for a donation of $4.
Membership is open to individuals and organizations. Annual dues are

The Huntington Beach Art League will hold a meeting and a
demonstration by Watercolorist Tim Clark at 7 p.m. at the Rodgers

The city of Huntington Beach Community Services Department will
offer a class in chocolate-making. Students will learn the history of
chocolate, make truffles and other chocolate creations. The class
will meet from 10 a.m. to noon at the Murdy Community Center, 7000

A Krystal Moon will host a two-part tarot workshop with Nila F.
Keith. Students will learn simple techniques that will give them the
ability to read immediately and, with practice, the skill and
confidence to read the cards accurately. The class will meet from 10
a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and again on March 9. An advanced non-refundable
deposit of $45 is required by Feb. 6. Bring brown bag lunch and any
