CITIZEN ACADEMY

The Laguna Beach Police Department is accepting applications for

the eighth Citizen Academy through Feb. 12. The academy is a 12-week

stressless course designed to provide community members with a better

understanding of the department. The topics covered will include the

history of the department, investigations, traffic enforcement,

gangs, narcotics, police K-9, a field trip to the Orange County Jail

HONORING WAYNE BAGLIN

The Woman’s Club will honor outgoing Mayor Wayne Baglin at 11:30

a.m. Immediately following lunch, the club will feature the second

annual Dessert Contest. Participants are invited to bring a home-made

LAGUNA BEACH

SENIORS DINNER

The first fund-raising dinner to benefit the Senior Center project

will take place from 4:30 to 9 p.m. at Villa Romana Trattoria, 303

Broadway. The cost is $20 plus tax and gratuity per person. The

WASTEWATER WORKSHOP

The Wastewater Advisory Committee will sponsoring a workshop to
