Soccer Club tryout date set

Laguna Beach Soccer Club will be holding a tryout session for new

members for its upcoming season on Saturday, March 1.

The tryout is open to boys and girls ages 7 to 14 and will be held

at Moulton Meadows.

The boys’ tryout will be held from 10 to 11:30 a.m., and the

girls’ tryout will be from noon to 1:30 p.m.

Other tryout dates are:

Boys’: Tuesday, March 4, 5 to 5:30 p.m.; and Saturday, March 8, 10

to 11:30 a.m.

Girls’: Thursday, March 6, 4 to 5:30 p.m.; and Saturday, March 8,

noon to 1:30 p.m.

Players are asked to bring a soccer ball, cleats and shin guards

and are encouraged to attend as many tryout sessions as possible.

This past season, the Laguna Beach Soccer Club fielded five boys’

and three girls’ squads, all of whom played in the Coast Soccer

League.
