Panthers edge out Wings, 4-3

Alex Covert scored off a Steven Sallack feed late in the third period

to lift the Panthers to a 4-3 victory over the Wings in a Campbell

Division game at Coast 2 Coast Inline Hockey Center in Huntington

Beach.

Steven Rousseau scored once with an assist, Dylan Luther and Tori

Beringer each scored once and Dylan Zeglovitch had an assist for the

Panthers.

Tanner Chang had 17 assists.

Ryan Voorhies scored for the Wings and Kayden Muzila had an assist

for the Wings and Conor Buckley had 15 saves.

In other games:

Blitz 2, Stars 2

The Blitz’s Jacob Rosser and Zachary Beko of the Stars each came

up with 15 saves as the teams battled to a tie.

Ryan Miller scored once and assist a Bandon Miller goal to lead

the Blitz on offense.

For the Stars, Jeffrey Beko and Alex Kemp both scored.

In Squirt Division play:

Young Guns 91 11, Flames 1

Tyler Lakes scored six goals -- including five consecutive goals

over a stretch of the second and third quarters -- and also came up

with two assists to power the Young Guns 91.

Kelan Stuart scored twice, Charles Mercure scored once with two

assists, Dennis Frijalva scored once and Nicholas Van Allen and Keith

Dickson each had one assist.

Jake Galaviz scored an unassisted, first period goal for the

Flames.

Falcons 11, OCB 93 4

Brandon Prince, Ryan Daley and Cody Campbell each scored twice to

lead the Pacific Coast Falcons.

Other goal scorers for the Falcons included William DeWit, Matt

Braun, John Fortner and Travis Benson.

Braun picked up two assists and DeWit, Braun, Sean Easton, Jeff

Fuzzard and Matt Devries each had one assist.
