CLINTON, N.Y. -- Former Hamilton College Continental hockey

goaltender Guy Hebert, a resident of Newport Beach who is with the

Anaheim Mighty Ducks public relations department, will be honored

when Hamilton retires Hebert’s game jersey to the rafters in a

ceremony on Feb. 22 at 2:30 p.m.

A graduate of Hamilton College in 1989 as the program’s all-time

leading goalie, Hebert led the Continentals to four straight ECAC

Playoff appearances and a No. 1 national ranking for the first time

in the program’s history.

In the 1993 expansion draft Hebert was the No. 1 pick for the

Mighty Ducks, taking him from the St. Louis Blues.

He spent the next eight years as the starting goalie, earning a

role in the NHL All-Star game.

Hebert holds seven different goaltending records for the Ducks,

including most games (441), most wins (173) and most saves (11,813).
