Red cars getting a ‘Strawberry’ invite

Red cars, trucks and motorcycles of all years, makes and models

are invited to the fourth annual Strawberry Sunday Fun Fest and

Classic Car Show on April 27, held in conjunction with the Orange

County Market Place in Costa Mesa.

Although the spotlight is on red cars, the Classic Car Show is

open to all makes, models and colors. Cars can be entered in 30

different divisions. The entry fee is $15 for pre-registration or $20

the day of the event. Cash awards go to first, second and third

place.

Red cars and red cars with white interiors can be entered for

free. A special Strawberry Award goes to the “cream of the red crop

of cars.”

Other festivities planned include Championship Strawberry Pie

Eating contests, sponsored by Marie Callender’s, locally grown fresh

strawberry sales, strawberry shortcake sold by local charities and

other strawberry food items.
