The Newport-Mesa Unified School District offers menu choices each day

at elementary schools. Students may choose a vegetarian entree if

desired. The selection may include a salad, sandwich or hot entree.

School lunches are $2 each. Here’s what’s being served this week:

TODAY

Munchable Lunch Salad with yogurt or corn dog or veggie corn dog,

potato smiles, chips, Craisins, choice of milk

WEDNESDAY

Oriental chicken salad with a fresh baked whole grain roll or

hamburger or veggie burger on a bun, lettuce and pickles, sliced

peaches, choice of milk

THURSDAY

Munchable Lunch Salad or pasta with marinara sauce and meatballs,

fresh baked whole grain roll, crisp green salad, choice of fruit,

choice of milk

FRIDAY

*Munchable Lunch Salad or chicken nuggets with dipping sauce,

jicama sticks with ranch dip, fruit juice bar, choice of milk

MONDAY

Munchable Lunch Salad or bean and cheese burrito, corn on the cob,

raisins, cookie, choice of milk

The Munchable Lunch Salad contains tossed greens, cherry tomatoes,

crackers and protein sources such as cheese, sunflower seeds, fruit

yogurt and honey-roasted peanuts. (*Peanut butter on selected days)
